My 100th Plushie Deviation!
 Here he is, my fat rat. It's not my fault he's so fat, really.  I made him a while back, and wasn't sure if I wanted to post him on DA because I wasn't completely satisfied with the way he came out. But, this is a community with a lot of artists and I've managed to attract a good amount of followers, so I'm hoping I can get some good constructive feedback on him. There are a few things about the pattern that I'm well aware of, such as1. He's too fat. 2. His head needs to be narrower and come to more of a point. 3. His hind feet stick out a little too much out to the sides, but the pattern pieces being assembled the way they are there isn't too much I can do to remedy that. My rat is based greatly on my mouse pattern. I did give him a bit of length to his legs, so there's some fur there before the felt feet. Rats are rather agile creatures, much more so than guinea pigs, so they have more pronounced limbs than my previous plushies. Oh, and I would shorten the length of the front feet, just the felt part. I was contemplating working on a hamster sitting up plushie pattern, and applying that to make a rat sitting up plushie, and see if I was more satisfied with the way that came out. Oh, and yes, I spent way longer on all those cakes and treats than I intended to. XD I actually made a bunch more cookies since, in all sorts of varieties, but I'll save that for another deviation.  I happen to really like him. Youd probably be more satisfied with him if you had narrowed the hips some, but I can't really think of anything else.
-- When things come apart at the seams, we have no choice but to stitch it up.  That is an adorable rat! And I love the cup in the background, it's so cute!!
